Blasting through the snow

Penguin Jetpack is a fun, cute, and addictive arcade game that will occupy you for hours. It has simple game mechanics where your main objective is to collect as many baby penguins in the snow as you can. That is to say that you will also be playing the character of a penguin as well!

Unexpectedly challenging

Admittedly, the game does look like any other jetpack game where you have to avoid obstacles and collect as many coins as possible until you reach the end of the course. We are not going to deny that that is exactly how the gameplay is, but do not be fooled by the light and fluffy design it has. Even with a cute penguin as your main character, the game can be relentless with its challenges. Of course, the first few levels are easy peasy and you would not even break a sweat from dodging floating ice and flying through gold coins, but wait until you come across floating spiked balls and persistent missiles. In some stages, there are fishes that will jump out from ice pools so stay vigilant! The flow also quickens as you complete levels so you would have to be really quick in changing the position of your penguin. 

We should probably mention that you are a penguin on the run, which means that you are speeding past icy obstacles for a reason aside from rescuing trapped baby penguins along the way. The story behind your penguin’s escape is pretty simple. The penguin was once trapped inside a cage but is able to break free so the captors are now intent on stopping it. This explains the missiles and other things that will try to hit you and stop you from reaching the finish line.

Frosty wonderland

The game may be designed in 2D graphics but that does not make the game any less entertaining to play. You will get to enjoy the same snowy environment throughout the game and it will no doubt give you a very Christmas-y feel. The light blue and white scheme is actually relaxing to look at. Its simplicity also makes the other game elements stand out even more like the gold coins and red missiles. You will enjoy a winter wonderland in this game all year round.        

A cute game for all

Jetpack Penguin is an enjoyable game that can be played by people of all ages. It is not complicated and easy enough for children and non-techies to quickly master. The game is not also very demanding when it comes to time and other pressures so you can just go back to playing it whenever you want.
